9-point home of ITN architects and is located in a beautiful location but problematic in the southern side of the Dandenong Ranges. 4-acre site was one of the last in the forested hills available for housing development. It was very difficult to reach, not to say to build anything there. The house was built at the top of the site to capture the stunning views of the city. The whole house is made of steel and have 9 points of support. This design allows the most efficient structural as well as making the main level of the house a perfect square, and to achieve maximum floor area of the minimum zone of the wall. Large areas of glass windows to allow increased views from every room. Interior space is simple white, which does not distract attention from the surrounding forests.
